Plarn (Plastic Yarn)

How to make plarn.

You will need:
Plastic grocery bags (Other bags will work-experiment)
Scissors

Lay the grocery bag out flat.

Fold the bag in half three times.

Cut the end and the handles off the bag and discard.

Cut the bag into 1-11/2 in sections.

Open up two sections and over lap the ends.

This is the tricky part.  Fold one section over itself and under the other end of itself.

Pull the two sections tight.

Continue to add more sections.  Make sure that the next sections are connected in the middle so that your plarn sections are even.

When you have connected many sections start rolling your plarn into a ball to use for your projects.

Use this like you would regular yarn for crochet projects.
